Yahoo, Google, and some other, are hosting a lot of webbased mailinglists, also called groups. You can join them, by becoming a member of the Yahoo/Google/whatever-world and some of them, like Yahoo, even easier just by subscribing the group via email (here an example with yahoo groups):

BookCrosser Netstation, has setup a wonderful page named OBCZ Finder, where reported BookCrossingzones can found, not only in Europe, but also in the whole world.

BTW, the OBCZ-Finder has indeed some entries for Portugal.

If there exists a support page for this country (mentioned above), you could find other sources of OBCZ, as the OBCZ-finder may not be complete. Not every OBCZ-caretaker even think of reporting them!
